Should have a larger size.
"These just fit. If one has larger calves these would likely not stay above the calve. One would have to keep pulling them up. I wear a size 12+ and these socks just rest above the calve. My guess is that Thorlo should size these a size smaller. Instead of large being up to 12.5 male , 11.5 male would correct the issue. I have no problem when ordering socks from Thorlo in the Extra Large size. The fit, finish, construction of the sock is Thorlo ! My goal for ordering these socks were to replace the WGXS 13004 Uniform sock the Thorlo no longer manufactures. The MS moderate cushion anti-fatigue are the closest to the WGXS that Thorlo sells now. At least they produce a actual XL in this sock that will fit and stay fit. Don't get me wrong , I have been a Thorlo customer for 30+ years,(Thorlo may have my records that date back prior to 30 years) and have only worn Thorlos from the first time I purchased them at a local boot shop. And if you would have told me that I would pay (At the time I think I paid $ 12 or 14 bucks) for a pair of socks, I would have called you crazy. Yet the socks have paid for themselves over & over. For those that are on their feet all day it's worth the $, and if you are paying $$$ for safety shoes, you will do yourself a favor and save long term $$ by wearing good socks. You may have to spend a buck to find the right fit, but it's well worth it in the long run. Nurses, Doctors, Ware House workers , Roofers, stand on cement? get a good sock. You Deserve It!"
