    Super Comfortable, High Quality Socks!

    03/22/15 | By

First of all, I am very particular about my socks. High quality, buy-it-for-life is what I look for. I decided to try out a pair of Thorlos based on some rave recommendations, and I have been quite impressed. They are clearly of high-quality construction and design. All of the seams and stitching are just-so, and I have actually caught myself thinking "Wow, my feet feel exceptionally comfortable" while wearing them. This sounds silly, but I think that the extra cushioning in just the right places really makes the difference. I'm thinking of purchasing some Thorlos running socks for this reason. I've only had these socks for a few months now, so I'm curious to see how the unique Thorlos materials hold up. As of yet, I have no reason to suspect that they won't last me. I would rate these socks as superior to Smartwool in construction and design, and close to Darn Tough socks, maybe equal to Darn Tough if the Thorlos hold up as well. Thanks Thorlos!

    Comfy!

Had these on a 10 mile trial hike yesterday, and I had less wear on my bunions than usual. I was surprised, but I do believe these socks wore better than my other hiking socks!

    Excellent hiking and walking solks

    03/15/15 | By

Very comfortable, especially when doing a lot of walking. Feet are cushioned and dry. Worth every penny. I am from Boston with its ghastly 2015 winter. I wore the socks with my ankle boots and had warm, dry, cozy feet all day. Look forward to hiking in them.

    Awesome socks, awesome feet support

    03/14/15 | By

The socks are soft, really supporting and really comfortable, I could wear them for days and hike in them all day and my feet feel like new!

    Very lightweight for hiking

    03/13/15 | By

They felt like normal socks. I wear a much heavier sock for hiking and with more compression in the arch area. I would rate my pair for grocery shopping etc. not hiking. They are a well made sock and comfortable but not what I was expecting for hiking.

    Great socks for damp conditions!

    03/13/15 | By

The socks are soft and very warm, cozy feeling. I hiked in them in damp conditions and my feet stayed dry and blister-free. I would have these in the top of sock drawer, except I am so spoiled by merino wool socks which can be worn on consecutive days with no odor retention. These socks are really great, soft, comfortable, wicking, but they have to be laundered after every use. Because of that I can't consider these for use on multi-day backpacking use, which is my benchmark for a really "great" pair of socks.
