    Awesome for Hiking

Great sock for hiking. Calf material is light weight to prevent sweating and the pads on the toe and heel help out tremendously! Definitely recommend these to anyone wanting a reliable, comfortable sock.

    comfy, but...

These are actually the most comfortable socks I've ever worn. Only issue I have is the looseness around ankle...I will definitely try other styles...this one just didn't fit me right, and I have skinny ankles. (6' 185 lbs.) 11-1/2 shoe size (US).

Cushion sole, but elastic quickly seemed worn

    03/23/15 | By

I'm truly a fan of Thorlos socks and have tried may brands to find the right one for long trekking. This sock isn't it. It was nice around the camp after a day on the trail. After a couple of wearings, the sock seems excessively worn. Personally, I prefer Thorlos' Desert Boot sock.

    Great socks for backpacking

These socks have been tested on 9 day/80 miles backpacking trips and they are fantastic. No blisters and very comfy. And my wife wears the same sock sold for women, and she loves them as well!

    Best Socks for Rucking...

    03/21/15 | By

I wore these on a GoRuck Challenge, 12 hrs w/and avg load of about 75 lbs, temps 13-17 degrees, and constantly on the move. Not a single blister, and wearing brand new boots:-)

Great Socks, Everything They Are Said to Be

Very comfortable, cool, wore them with my combat boots, and they lived up to the claims made.

not as good as other Thorlo socks.

    03/19/15 | By

These socks run small compared to other Thorlo socks I have. After only a couple times wearing them, they are pilling and look like I had them for years.

    Amazingly comfortable

    03/16/15 | By

IIt had been a few years since I'd worn Thorlos and I was not expecting much but I have to say that the softness and cushioning was remarkable. Keep in mind, I'm not comparing these socks to some cheap tube socks and have been wearing similar socks from Bridgedale, Wigwam and Woolrich....sorry to out those companies but these are much better. We'll see how they hold up to washing, etc. but these just replaced my current favorites (some L.L. Bean socks I am also a big fan of)!

    good socks

I've used Thorlo's for years and liked them. The only suggestion I could make is the elastic top could be tighter.
