Ordered three pairs and although they feel alright while wearing them they are beyond a dought the ugliest socks I own. They look great out of the package, but after only a few hours of wearing them they seem to grow hair and collect lint like a magnet. The material is such that it frays from normal use/wearing. After a very short time the entire sock looks like it was put on inside out. I thought there was a defect on the first pair so decided to reserve judgment until I tried all three pairs since the sock itself did seem to hold a decent shape. By the time I realized I made a not so good choice in buying these, I procrastinated about complaining or returning them so it's my own fault I'll just live with. The company has been very polite and courteous in our transaction and likely would have been good about returns had I not waited too long. I can't speak for their other socks, but this sock is one you will want to wear in a boot where nobody can see it.
Great for everything

As a very active person, I'm on my feet and moving almost constantly. These socks give me plenty of cushion and let me keep going all day long, whether it's hiking, biking, running, or climbing.
Great padding, not for insulation

I have continued my love of hiking since returning from my first serious hike last October. I walked the Camino de Santiago across Spain last September. I live in Minnesota and was very curious if I could continue walking through the winter. I was excited to try your "made in America" socks out. When they arrived I was very pleased with the thickness and softness of the pad. They ARE great for walking in moderate temperatures but on the first day out in sub-zero temperatures I had to turn around and go back and change into my wool blend hiking socks. The Polyester added plenty of cushion but not the warmth of wool.
Great for hiking and even just around the house

Great hiking/walking sock

I bought one pair initially to check out the style. I wanted a warm sock while wearing my hiking shoes during wet or cold weather. These socks fit snugly and I wondered if they were too short. But after walking they were fine. The "neck" did not slip a bit and my feet were warm. These are great socks. I like the subtle colors too. Highly recommend.
Soft comfortable and warm!

These are wonderfully soft, yet they can handle being laced up in Combat boots all day supporting a VERY Big body! They wash well, and stay soft and padded. I will be getting many more pairs!

These are ideal for huiking rough terrain and steep trails in the Smokies. Feet never seem to be sore or bilster on the Mt. Le Conte trails. They should work well for chasing wild turkey up ridges and saddles this spring
