Health & Wellness Padds® socks
Thorlos PADDS provide foot protection and comfort to people with diabetes whose feet are not at immediate risk of ulceration or amputation (If your feet are ulcerated or at immediate risk of ulceration or amputation, talk with your healthcare or foot health professional immediately regarding appropriate sockwear and footwear). They’re also recommended for people with arthritis or low-to-moderate foot pain and/or foot conditions such as blisters.
"I am a diabetic and your new PADDS socks are what I have been looking for for years. I love all lengths of the PADDS but I am partial to the Mini-Crews. They are so comfortable and protective. Thank you for developing them." Ann J.
In ground-breaking studies, Thorlos padding was clinically shown to reduce blisters, pain, pressures and moisture that could set the stage for serious diabetes-related foot conditions such as ulcers that can lead to foot amputation. It does this by absorbing the impact of every step you take, lessening the effects of the friction forces that are generated with more vigorous activity and keeping moisture at the proper level for optimal foot health. PADDS are part of our clinically-tested padded socks (CTPS) product line.
"For those with neuropathy in the feet, these are the most comfortable socks I have found." Terry J.
Thorlos unique padding provides dense cushioned support to cushion and protect the bottom of feet that have lost soft tissue—particularly fat pads—something that occurs naturally with time and activity. Our padding is positioned in exactly the right anatomical places to provide protection for the ball and heel so your feet feel profoundly comfortable.
Watch our Thorlos PADDS design video to see how we engineer comfort, resilience and moisture-wicking properties into every pair of Thorlos PADDS.
"These socks are heaven. They help me stay on my feet longer and get more done." Joy B.

Doing a great job oat helping it not hurt so much to walk, stand etc. Great socks indeed.

I liked the socks, but they were not as cushiony as the basketball socks I usually get from you. I thought I might like the shorter "lighter" socks for the warmer weather - but no, back to my favs!

I felt an immediate difference once I slipped on the socks. Absolutely love them Wish I known about them sooner.

I am 70 years old, weigh 340 lbs (I'm 6'1") and have diabetes. The pads of my feet have been thining with age and walking has become uncomfortable. I have used Thurlo socks with success for decades so I thought I would try the socks they designed for problems like mine. I also purchased a pair of Brooks sneakers designed for my problems that they named "the beast". The socks combined with the shoes did the trick. Walking is much more comfortable now. If these new Thurlo socks are half as durable as the ones I' be been wearing for so long I will recommend them without reservation. Great socks.

I never buy any sock but Thorlos! I love the padding and the way they stay up and don't fall down your leg.

I have worn Thorlos socks for about 15 years and I have really enjoyed them. I have extremely narrow feet ( 4A and 5A ) width shoes. I never did have a lot of padding on the bottom of my feet. As I have aged , I have lost even more padding . I can't always find narrow width shoes my size, but I do the next best thing. I wear SAS and New Balance shoes with my Thorlos. They give me padding for the bottom of my feet and they help take up the extra space in my shoes. I discovered that the Padds are not only thicker on the balls, but also thicker on the heel. I will buy these when I need more. The're Great.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and diabetes, and moderate to sever foot pain is an almost daily occurrence due to the ravages of these two diseases which destroy nerve functions.. Clearly, good high-quality socks are paramount to foot comfort, and Thorlos socks are very comfortable--amongst the best I've tried. And I can honestly say that I've tried most of the brand that are advertised for diabetic patients. Most of those brands were disappointingly inferior. But the Thorlos socks are so comfortable, and I will certainly buy additional pairs. Sadly, I am only able to afford one or two pairs at a time, but I will continue to be a long time consumer of your products!

My husband took advantage of the Free Pair Offer and got a pair of these for me to try. My feet are crippled from arthritis and walking was painful. These socks provide some degree of relief when worn alone around the house or with shoes when I go outside. The Thorlon fiber provides amazing padding in the soles yet is not bulky in any way. I would definitely recommend these socks to others with my condition
